A review and summary on Dr. Steven Gundry’s Book the Plant Paradox. I summarize the books opinions on lectins and chronic disease.
While I’m not a nutritionist, I’ve used my background in microbiology to deep-dive into the research and have learned a lot about nutrition through the course of my clean eating journey. In addition to offering tasty recipes, I want to share the research findings how food impacts our bodies and what foods are better or worse for us. I also want to address questions readers might have because I know I sure had a lot of questions going into this! And there’s a lot of confusing information out there. For instance, What Is the Ketogenic Lifestyle and Diet and how is that different from Paleo? Is fat good for us and do we all react to it in the same way? And how can a beginner learn the basics of the paleo diet?
