Day 10 – Are we half way yet?

Today is the first day I did real exercise. Real exercise followed by raw cabbage and dates is, let’s say, less than satisfying.

However, I did’t want pizza, or beer (well not that much) or anything that I’d consider unhealthy. What I really wanted was peppers and sweet potatoes. I’m craving healthy foods! I think creating this schedule tricked my psyche. I know that sweet potatoes and peppers are coming up soon on the list. They aren’t bad foods. They are nutrient rich foods that I can’t have. I feel like I’ve trained my mind to have a different forbidden fruit. Maybe sweet potatoes and chile peppers will be my new guilty pleasure. Once they’re allowed ūüėČ

Today, however, is the day of bone broth. I’m thinking that will fill me up and give me all the nutrients I need to keep on trucking.

I loaded up today with my normal early am 16oz of celery juice. Then fruit juice. After exercising, I nomed on a banana and dates for calories and then had a full salad, the same as yesterday.

Broth is not enough, and its not RAW, so I need something Rawsome to go with it for a complete dinner. I’ve seen a lot of recipes for cauliflower fried rice and thought I could do a cauliflower rice bowl with home fermented cabbage. I would prefer to add¬†homemade kimchi but¬†kimchi calls for peppers – which are night shades – which aren’t until next week. Drag.
